William Mitchell Redd is a judge for the 14th Judicial District in Louisiana. Redd defeated Oliver Jackson Schrumpf in the 2014 election. His term will expire on December 31, 2024. Redd received a B.S. in business management from Louisiana Tech University in 1987, and a J.D. from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1990. Before becoming a judge, Redd was the managing partner of W. Mitchell Redd, LLC and the city attorney for the city of Sulphur. He was formerly a partner at the law firm Liles & Redd, L.C. for 16 years.
