Judge Gregory P. Aucoin is a lifelong resident of Morgan City, Louisiana. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1968, in Morgan City. After high school, he attended Nicholls State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1972. After graduating from Nicholls, he attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduating with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1975.  He was licensed to practice law by the Louisiana Supreme Court in 1975.

Anthony “Tony” Saleme has worked as an assistant district attorney (ADA) in the St. Martin Parish and St. Mary Parish offices for 23 years. During that time, he personally prosecuted 11,000 cases. Since 2013, Anthony has served as the supervisor of the District Attorney’s Office in St. Mary Parish. He has developed a close relationship with law enforcement, and claims that he has always makes himself available all hours of the day and night to assist any law enforcement officer.

In 2020, Judge Saleme was elected District Judge for the 16th Judicial District Court, Division F, and took office on January 1, 2021.
