The Honorable Richard “Chip” Moore was born September 30, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Zachary High School, and then continued his education at LSU, graduating in 1988. Judge Moore attended the Southern University Law School, from which he graduated in 1992. Judge Moore has practiced law for nineteen years. He became a District Court Judge in April, 2005.
