Judge John E. LeBlanc is a judge of the 17th Judicial District, Division A in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this position on November 3, 1998. He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015 and expiring on December 31, 2020. LeBlanc earned his B.S. in Business in 1981 from LSU and received his JD from Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1985. He practices at LeBlanc and LeBlanc Law Offices for 12 years. Prior to being elected to the 17th JDC, LeBlanc was an Assistant 17th JDC Public Defender from 1990 – 1988 and was a Drug Court Judge from 2000 – 2003.
