Juneau, who has served as a legal counsel for St. Bernard government, has managed more than 1,000 cases in her 16-year legal career since graduating from Loyola Law School in 1997, according to her Tuesday announcement. She is on leave from her position with parish government as she campaigns for judge.
Born and raised in St. Bernard, Juneau grew up in the Reggio area and has been in private practice for the past 12 years, according to the announcement.
She serves on the boards of the St. Bernard Parish Council on Aging and the Kiwanis Club. She and her husband Timmy Juneau have two children, Ashlyn and Braden.
