G. Michael Canaday is a judge of the 14th Judicial District, Division G, in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this position on October 7, 2000, re-elected in 2002 and 2008, and re-elected unopposed in 2014. He is serving a six-year term that ends on December 31, 2020.
Canaday has served as Chief Judge of the 14th Judicial District Court, and is the senior sitting judge for civil and criminal matters.
