D. Milton Moore III is a judge on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Louisiana. He took office on December 26, 2002 and was most recently re-elected in 2012. His current term expires on December 31, 2022.
Prior to becoming a judge, Moore practiced private law for 12 years. He also served on the Monroe City Council from 1980-1984.
Moore received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1973 and his J.D. from Louisiana State University Law School in 1976.
