Cornelius E. Regan is the Division B judge of the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. He was elected to this position on September 30, 2006 and was re-elected without opposition in 2008. He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015 and expiring on December 31, 2020. Regan received both his B.B.A. and J.D. from Loyola University – New Orleans. Regan is a former assistant Orleans Parish district attorney. He then worked as the chief of trials for the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office from 1997 until his judicial election in 2006.
