Prior to being elected District Judge for the 26th JDC, Division B, Smith was a felony prosecutor with the 26th Judicial District Court for Bossier and Webster Parishes and has been a prosecutor for 16 years. He also maintains a private law practice in Minden, Louisiana where he has practiced in all areas of the law. Additionally, he is the owner of Webster Title Agency, Inc. as well as an Agent for First American Title Insurance Company.
He is a member of First United Methodist Church and I regularly serve with our “Souper Saturday” team preparing meals for those in the community who are normally served by Meals on Wheels but do not get food on the weekends.
