Charles Jacobs attended and graduated Ruston High School in 1998 and continued his educational career at LSU Baton Rouge where he graduated in 1992. He then entered LSU Law School and graduated in 1995. Judge Jacobs began his legal career an associate in the law firm of John M. Robinson from 1995 until 2000. He continued his legal career as partner in the law firm of Smith and Jacobs from 2000 until 2014. Judge Jacobs also served as an Assistant District Attorney for Bossier and Webster Parishes from 2003 until 2014. Judge Jacobs further served as the Springhill City Attorney and City prosecutor from 2000 until 2014. Judge Jacobs was elected in November 2014 to the 26th Judicial District Court.
