Brenda Bedsole Ricks is the Division E judge of the 21st Judicial District in Louisiana. She was first elected to this position on November 5, 1996. She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015 and expiring on December 31, 2020. Ricks received a B.A. from Southeastern Louisiana College, going on to earn her J.D. from the Southern University Law Center. She was admitted to the bar in 1984.
