Born in 1975, Judge Eaves graduated from Pitkin High School in 1994 and went on to receive a B.A. from McNeese in 1998, a J.D. from LSU Law in 2001, and a M.Div. from SWBTS in 2007.
Before being elected judge in 2014, Judge Eaves had a private practice in Leesville and served as an Assistant District Attorney.
Judge Eaves is a member of East Leesville Baptist Church, Louisiana District Judges’ Association, Third Circuit Judges’ Association, Louisiana Bar Association, 30th JDC Bar Association, and Vernon Cattlemen’s Association.
