Judge Ledrika Johnson Thierry attended Southern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, with a concentration in English. After obtaining her degree in Secondary Education she was accepted into law school at Southern University where in 2003 she obtained her Juris Doctorate. At the age of 24 she was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar and opened her own law firm where she specialized in Personal Injury, Family, and Criminal Law. As a young attorney Ledricka clerked for Judge Alonzo Harris and Wilson Fields.
Elected District Judge, Division “C” of the 27th Judicial District Court in November of 2020.
